ILC Well Represented on Punknews.org Best of 2009
When Punknews.org posted their Best of 2009 list last week, we were extremely pleased to see ILC labels/titles very well represented on the list. In fact, The Sidekicks Weight Of Air (on Red Scare) took the #1 spot on the albums list and Bomb The Music Industry! Scrambles (on Asian Man) was at #2! On the Best EPs of 2009, The Menzingers Hold On Dodge 7″ (on Red Scare) took #3!
There’s also a good number of bands with new releases on the list who have back catalogue titles available from ILC, including The Lawrence Arms, Teenage Bottlerocket, and Strike Anywhere.
Andrew Jackson Jihad & Kepi Ghoulie Hit The Road

ILC Titles Among Top 20 Of The Decade
About.com’s Punk Music section has posted an article outlining their choices for the 20 Best Punk Albums of the Decade (2000-2009) and ILC has two in the top 10! At #9 is Bouncing Souls’ “The Gold Record” (LP on Chunksaah Records available from ILC) and at #3 Alkaline Trio’s “Maybe I’ll Catch Fire” (CD & LP on Asian Man Records both available from ILC). Congratulations to both bands for making their mark on the first decade of the 21st Century!
